Little Michael Jackson overcomes stumble and wins the Grand Finals

It was a terrifying moment that left when Little Michael Jackson stumble in  "It's Showtime" TV show. The audience members was in tears.

On last Saturday "MiniMe" Grand Finals, the 5 year-old confident Nhikzy Vheench Calma was halfway through his performance, showing his dance moves inpired by the King of Pop Michael Jackson.

But his first stumble came when he attemped to move dubbed as the "anti-gravity lean." Calma was not on top of the moving platform, which was around 3 feet from the floor, when it happened. But his talent on the dance floor exactly didn't go unrecognized by the crowd.

Calma, trying to recover from the slight erroe, immediately jumped to his feet. However, in doing so, caused the platform to flip back.

It almost tossed his head down to the floor, if not for the strap that kept his feet glued to the platform. A backup dancer skip to grab Calma, but was surprised when the kid opted to continue his routine.

"May mga ibang bata, 'pag may nangyayaring ganoon, wala na iiyak na. Ihihinto na. Pero siya ipinakita niya na kaya ko to! Vhong Navarro stated.

"Alam mo ba yung ginawa mo, "yung nahulog ka, bumalik ka, nag-adlib ka, alam ba na kahit mga edad namin, hindi namin alam kung panu gagawin 'yun. Kasi matataranta na kami. Ikaw sa edad mong 'yan, hangang-hanga ako sa iyo. Ang tapang mo, ang husay mo, "co-host Billy Crawford said.

The Manila born kid went to become the first Grand Winner of "Minie," taking home P300,000.


Runner Up

Finishing first runner-up int he first edition of "MiniMe" grand finals was John Steven De Guzman better known as "Mini Vhong," who took home P200,000.

Xymon Ezekiel "Mini Bamboo" Pineda was named 2nd runner-up winning P100,000. Other awards such as Most Charming, which Pineda also won, were handed out.
