Ateneo Outlasts FEU, Moves To Solo Second

It was a good day for Ateneo Blue Eagles by taking the exclusive hold of second place in the league standings over Far Eastern University (FEU).

The star of the game Kiefer Ravena got a 23 points while Mike Tolomia was nearly sent  the game into overtime.

Ravena also scored 12 in fourth quarter. This was the fourth victory of Ateneo Blue Eagles in UAAP Season 77 of men's basketball tournament.

Ateneo got the lead with 1:15 to go and an unmeasurable 75-76 with Ravena's drilling three-pointer with two free throws.

Blue Eagles coach Bo Perasol said that "i like the way we played the game up to the last two minutes," "We should have been able to finish it better, but still a win for us.

That would be a lead if they never drop out, although Belo gave his effort in the game, he still finished with 22 points and Tolomia with 15 points.

Ravena is still in an open doors to (FEU) Ravena also said "I think FEU is one of the teams na hindi mo alam kung paano ka tatalunin, kc the players they have, sila Mac and sila Mike, 'yung main guys nila na-contain naman namin."

"Noong dulo na lang sila naka-score. We just stuck to the game plan, to try and contain the two players," Ravena added.
